Stunning portfolio images done in studio
This portfolio shoot was awesome. After some communication and trying to arrange to get together, finally myself and my client were able to set a date. She wanted both a glam look captured as well as some casual images, but ended up loving her glam look so much. She had an amazingly blingy dress that catched the light in all sorts of beautiful ways. So I added one of Nicolassi’s funnest accessories, the bunny mask also made from a glittery foam and which also catches the light in its beautiful folds.
The Nicolassi Brand is a styling- and accessory range that I handmade and built for the use of Loci photography’s studio shoots, and most of its inspiration came from wanting to add new shapes to my visual images, instead of always having the same boudoirs and the same portfolios keep on happening. It was important to see how I would be able to shake up the system – my mother always advised me to swim upstream – and not do boudoirs, a genre I love – the same way for absolute years. So many people are photographing and there truly are so many choices when it comes to service providers, you don’t even have to look far. Google will show you various photographers close to you…so it is important to keep my work different and make changes to the style and presence.
These masks are awesome, and using them seem to give all my shoots a fun and sensual element.
Somehow you have to stand out and even in a very competitive market it is important to show how your business can create a product for each clients that looks different to the next service provider’s. Stunning portfolio images done in studio is what Loci does well, as has done for quite a few years already.
The Loci Photography’s studio used to be in a different area of Pretoria, and has recently moved to an area called Rietvallei Park, close to both the R21 and N1 highways, serving clients from Pretoria East, as well as greater Pretoria, definitely still Johannesburg and Midrand clients, as well as now accessible more easily to East Rand clients, people driving from Boksburg, Kempton Park, Benoni, Edenvale, Bedfordview and beyond.
