STUNNING QUALITY PORTFOLIO IMAGES SHOT IN STUDIO BY LOCI PHOTOGRAPHY
This INCREDIBLE young girl, was pure gold in front of the camera. Wanting to have a shoot done purely for herself, she communicated with me beforehand on perhaps what would work well as outfit choices – and as that is one thing I do believe in – the way a photographer should responsibly chat to their clients before a shoot – we came up with some good couches and things that fit her personality well.
At such a young age already, she is super strong and a bit fierce, and that was incredibly evident throughout her shoot – it was a dream to photograph with her, she made my job so easy, and the results of her product were dreamy and beautiful. I always aim for something to my highest standard, I will most probably continue shooting during a shoot, until I am happy and satisfied, and even though that might be to my own detriment, I know how clients value the attention to detail, and the care you give their product, from the shooting process all the way to it’s editing process.
The Loci Studio is situated in a very safe and lovely part of Pretoria, a suburb called Waverley, polled as one of the best neighbourhoods in Pretoria to reside. Clients have the comfort of knowing they have some privacy, and a safe location to come to for their shoots. The room we use is secure, and there is a space to get dressed in, and it’s homely feel has made for many great memories over the four years I’ve used it primarily as a studio, a space to create. Clients seem to enjoy the space and I’ve been able to do various shoots here, from portfolios, fitness shoots, boudoir shoots, headshots and corporate images, videos, and a variety of different things. Portfolio images shot in studio makes for a whole new discipline, it’s a different product that a shoot on location, but it makes for a great quality product.
Her lovely hair- and makeup set was done by my trusted resident hair- and makeup artist, Jeanne-Kay Kruger of Rose Serene Studio.
