Professional event photography is a strength of Loci photography, and I have been doing events for almost a decade. Events are mostly celebrations, and of all celebrations you would want a visual memory of it. Having booked a professional photographer, ensures that your event is covered in the utmost professional way, with good equipment, and great candid moments of all of your guests.
From having had done 21st birthday parties, to year-end functions, to award evenings, to birthdays of any age – I know that a lot of planning and organizing, time and effort went into the event, and of course that would want to be captured well, and professional event photography is what I pride myself in.
To give that responsibility to the photographer, is also the best idea because it gives you the chance to enjoy your evening, and have fun with your guests as you chat and mingle, and not worry yourself, about making sure the event is recorded.
It’s always good to make sure with clients beforehand what the setup for each event is, as it differs in the work, and the way you work around a room with 50 guests, as suppose to an event with 250 guests.
More time is then needed to document so much more moments, plainly because of the bigger guest list, and it is a good idea to prepare yourself with as much information for your event that lies ahead, than not knowing, and then not being sure what the actual end result of the product you should give should be.
Make sure to scan the room well – look at fond expressions when speeches are given, or hugs after the blowing out of a candles on a birthday cake.
This wonderful 60th birthday party was held at Avianto in Muldersdrift, a top-class venue known for amazing weddings and functions. It had a stunning theme of gold, pink and black, all the classy decor matched this and made for sparkly moments, and glistening images.
