Fitness photography for clients from the East Rand
The fitness shoot can be done for various reasons. Just like the boudoir, it is many times goal-based and the reason for it could be because of a fitness challenge that was reached, so now at a certain point, clients are happy with their physique’s look and want to capture that. We have huge fun during the fitness shoot – the very definable shape of the body is used in various poses, and we do interesting lighting to highlight all sorts of muscle tone.
Many times clients ask if it’s models that I photograph or who appear in my galleries and I say no, it usually never is. Not even my boudoir shoots or modeling portfolios, these are people from all walks of life and with some camera magic, we were able to work together for a great lasting product for them. This handsome client is also a tennis instructor and wanted to include his tennis racket as prop for a few shots.
Shooting fitness I find such fun, usually these are amped and inspired clients who only feel proud of their current achievements and now want a great, quality, professional documentation of that, so the chats are always pumped and exciting.
The Loci Photography studio used to be in a different part of Pretoria, but currently is an area called Rietvallei Park, close to Waterkloof Hoërskool, close to both the R21 and N1, literally close to the Irene Offramp, Rigel Offramp as well as offramp heading towards Pretoria CBD, and only about 30min from the OR Tambo Airport, so is now able to serve any interested clients from the East Rand as well, very easily. Clients from Boksburg, Benoni, Kempton Park, Edenvale, Bedfordview, Germiston as well as further afield are able to get to the Loci studio easily without problems. Loci photography has proudly been in business for ten years this year, and through all of its difficult times, Covid or a struggling economy, has been able to provide clients with a great high-quality product, and still going strong.
