This beautiful baby girl is already older, and she has a brand new baby brother too, but I loved this Family Photography shoot so much, and with my new site, I still wanted to celebrate some of the older shoots I have done because I’m still proud of the many family I had been able to serve professionally and photographically over the years of having had my business.
They again, chose the beautiful time of day, that hour and a half before sunset, as the light is turning to a warmer colour, and the shadows are not as hard as towards midday. They stay on a farm just outside of Pretoria, and the road into it has a beautiful lane of trees and cornfields at the back of it. How is there anything cuter than a gummy smiling baby, and having a daddy that is completely in love with her.
We did this shoot, the way I always try and “structure” my family shoots, with little posing, and as much authentic interaction between them as possible. So baby was able to yell from laughter as her daddy threw her in the air.
A family photoshoot is a worthy way to document the growth of your family. Children grow up too fast, and babies become toddlers and teens, and families get new baby’s even perhaps. And all of that can be such a fond memory when I get to document the bond between family members in a shoot together.
I get to go back, and look at many of these shoots, and not only see how far I have come in my career, but notice the many wonderful people I had been able to meet, that received high-quality products, and through referrals from these happy people, I had been able to meet some more.
Family photography is an amazing investment, and to have one done properly will have you realize what family, is all about.
