This family was the absolute best. The mother was a bit unsure if perhaps she wanted the studio set-up for their Family Photography, or if we could go somewhere for their shoot on a lovely summer’s day, but after stopping at their quaint home in a lovely part of Johannesburg’s city, I suggested to her, let’s use the house for their Family Photography. It’s what the kids know, and she has amazing taste, so it would look great. They agreed.
After having some fun with her boys for a bit to get them to smile for the camera, we had some great time with just the family, and had them interact with each other as if I wasn’t even there – building puzzles and cutting strawberries.
Two fun boys, and lots of help from mom and dad made for such a great morning. I took about 700 images of them. Another day in the life, another Family Photography shoot.
Yes – I do live for this. When going into a shoot, you never know what you’re going to get there. With smaller children you always take a chance, because you know that they, actually only do whatever they want, and if they are not feeling it – they are not feeling it. But these two are actually good friends, and with rockstar parents who helped me tremendously, our result was amazing, and their product was superb.
