Double Exposure, Fujifulm, Loci Photography

Me being me – I like to get creative, and I try it with as many different genres as I can. I happen to do photography quite well, and it’s the biggest medium I get to play with when I want to express my endless creativity. The Double Exposure function, made me excited to try…

Something I had always been fascinated with, and not played with much – is the double exposure function which many cameras have these days.

This used to be only doable on film, as their was only added light burning on film emulsion, and not double as much pixels, added onto an already filled image. The fact that cameras now are able to do with, shows how far technology has come, and that we truly not just have advanced machines in our hands, but great mediums to get artistic with, to get creative with.

Often, there are photowalks arranged by many of the people who have quite active- and social Instagram accounts, organizing groups of people to get together, walk through certain areas, and then photograph, whatever they want.

On one such recent photowalk I wanted to try my Fujifilm X-T1’s double exposure function, in a fun way to see what I could get.

In no way is it near to the many amazing and breathtaking double exposure images out there on the net, but it was a first try, and from a creative point of view, I liked my result.

It’s one of the many features I love on my camera, such as the Panorama feature as well – a tool I have used to also get landscapes on a longer way, with added “image” for the viewer to see more of what was in front of me.

Both features I would like to still play with more – but it’s as if my camera had allowed me to get creative with my machine, even if it knows I still give it its power. The Fuji camera is a user-friendly camera – and this goes for all the cameras in the Fuji range.
