There are endless places to shoot at in Maboneng. And it’s all colourful and vivid and makes for such a great location shoot. Couple photos are something I enjoy so much, and every chance I get to shoot in Maboneng, I go for it.
I have done a few shoots with this family already, and did the prom photos for these two, and now being a bit older, we did another stellar couple shoot together, and decided on the Arts on Main Precinct in Maboneng, Johannesburg – our stunning city. It’s a little raw, and very urban, but adds onto your photos in a wonderful way, and I just LOVE being there and shooting in an artistic and creative environment.
Couple photos is a whole lot of fun! We know they already love each other, so those little moments of whispers and smiles and giggles, happen very naturally. Maboneng gives that space – lots of colours, busy, interesting architecture, graffiti, all a good recipe for a good set of couple photos.
Shooting with people, is what I do and love, and will always fuel my photographic passion, because people give you what you need to breath – emotion and passion and lots and lots of love.
