Doing boudoir photography will always be a favourite of mine. One wonders if enough can be said about it.
When working with women, it’s always entering the mysterious, and sometimes sensitive, and definitely a beautiful territory. Women are graceful, and have a natural tendency for amazing lines. Lines only women have. These have been the muse of artists for so many years, and most definitely have men jealous do don’t have them.
This shoot, is what keeps me cooking, and one I very much enjoy the journey with every woman with.
Make sure to have all your underwear sets- and/or any sleepwear sets ready for your wonderful boudoir photography shoot, and it’s perfectly normal to be a little nervous. This happens to all of us, and during the shoot, you’ll relax and know you are in good hands as I direct you well during posing.
Be sure to have some professional make-up done, and perhaps even your hair, it comes highly recommended, and rounds of your shoot perfectly, as professional make-up artists, usually knows how to highlight the features of your face perfectly.
It’s not a shoot we do everyday, and therefore we try and take extra care with our grooming and making sure we represent ourselves well.
Getting the right accessories, such as lovely shoes, and stockings together, and jewellery really help in adding the feminine touch.
We use hands in our images, we can’t really hide them, and I encourage all clients to be sure their hands look good.
These are all just small little things you can do to be boudoir-ready for your shoot to come.
Please note during February and March, there are always specials on for Boudoir Shoots. Be sure to inquire.
