CLASSICALLY CAPTURED COUPLE SHOOT IN PRETORIA
A classically captured couple shoot, as if straight from an old fashioned film.
I have written previously about how many clients come back for different services again, and this stunning woman booked a boudoir shoot previously with me, and decided to do a couple shoot with her husband, who is the sweetest man, and clearly so madly in love with her.
She clearly has a great deal of class, and knew with both of their light skin- and light hair combinations, that a deep blue for a choice of clothing would suit them well, and it did very stylishly.
We used the trusty backdrop of the Pretoria Botanical Gardens for our shoot, and had a lovely time strolling around the pathways of it’s forestry feel to capture something romantic for them.
Clients often ask me what time is a good time for their shoot to happen, and I mention to them that if possible, the late afternoon sun is the best for your product’s overall feel and mood. The gardens have my beautiful tall trees, and large open fields where shadows run long, and the streaks of lights from the sun lightly come through branches in the most spectacular of ways.
I go on journeys with my clients. I love to hear their stories of how they met, what made them fall in love with each other, what do they feel is the best characteristic of their partners, and how they came to be with me at that exact moment, as people book shoots for all kinds of reasons.
I almost intrude in their love story with a couple shoot, and I try and work around their cuddles and tickles and words spoken softly in the other one’s ear, to get my shots that are filled with romance.
