THE ULTIMATE PROFESSIONAL BOUDOIR EXPERIENCE IN STUDIO
A boudoir shoot doesn’t get much prettier than this. This incredible woman came to visit my studio, and with a sultry and deep voice, continued to tell me her story – which is the sole ( and soul) reason I do what I do.
Boudoir never turned out to be a shoot only about women in lingerie. It’s a genre of photography just like family pictures or events, but its essence is much different to any of those and the reason for having a boudoir is deeper, and more meaningful. I have always loved photographing women, I can fully understand why they have been many an artist muse over centuries, and they do not only come with a sensual external shape, but an emotional and purposeful internal walk about life, and in many cases, it’s a painful reason they come to visit my studio.
The studio shoot has been something I’ve fallen in love with over and over again, as its moodiness and darker feel, seems to fit my style quite perfectly. Even though it might not be fully boudoir with a bedroom location- and environment, it does celebrate and capture women with beautiful pieces of underwear still spectacularly.
We seem to never understand, or keep constant kindness ready for other people, we walk around with our own agendas needing to fulfil our own goals and needs, and we don’t always see, or plainly get that every person we meet, or see or pass by, has a story and sometimes the common denominator is pain. Which we all carry. There isn’t always a long expiration date to our kindness and we don’t always have it in abundance, but in my studio, I try and meet each woman in a place of care, assimilation and understanding – and in that space I know that the boudoir shoot we’re about to have together will be magical.
