Loci Photography provides a boudoir shoot experience unlike any other in the country – I fully believe so. You have to maintain and keep growing your brand, and through grandmothers who used to love sewing, I guess it was in me to start creating with a sewing machine – and so The Nicolassi Brand was born. This was one hyper fixation that stuck, and it became what is now quite an extended range of attire my studio carries, and something I’m enormously proud of. Each time I take a garment off of its hanger, I remember how I chose the fabric, I laid a pattern on that fabric, cut it out, and sewed it myself. It’s surreal.
The boudoir shoot can be done for various reasons, either as a stunning wedding gift which is a popular choice, to be given to your groom-to-be before the wedding, or as an anniversary gift, and no harm in doing one for yourself at any point as well, perhaps for a birthday or special milestone. The way the Loci boudoir shoot is shot, is sensual while still being classy, and adding some of the exclusive Loci Photography’s clothing brand’s garments – called The Nicolassi Brand, just elevates the quality of your shoot tremendously. The Loci Photography studio also moved where now to an area called Rietvallei Park, it serves Pretoria East as well as still the greater Pretoria area, Centurion, Irene, Midrand, all of Johannesburg’s lovely client’s still, as well the awesomest East Rand, like Kempton Park, Boksburg, Benoni, Bedfordview and Edenvale. It’s stressful to move but it’s ultimately rewarding having amazing clients who support your work so loyally like the clients I’ve been fortunate to serve. Knowing that my tools helped to create my garments, I have to mention my Elna Sewing machines that I started with, Elna is an old, trustworthy brand and their sewing machines just last and last. Recently I bought an incredible Kingstar industrial machine, what a beast, its whirring and whizzing makes me so excited.
