A BLACK BUNNY MASK FROM NICOLASSI
Loci Photography has always been quite the classic studio, but definitely not old-fashioned, and even though I love a bit of mood, it seems to still associate with anyone wanting something different for their boudoir- or portfolio shoots.
Very soon Loci will be 10 years old, something I’m struggling to believe myself actually. I can’t think and imagine this has been such a long journey already, and how much I’ve changed as a person, an artist and as a photographer. So what my studio definitely thrives to do is provide a product unlike any other you’ll find in this country, with styling aides from my sister brand, Nicolassi, on offer for clients as part of their styling and to add to the beauty of their shoots.
What Nicolassi is definitely doing is growing leaps and bounds, and I’m adding to its collection regularly, with jackets, coats and masks that enhance shoots something fiercely. Recently I was able to make some stunning masks, in cat- and bunny shapes, and they seem to be photographing so beautifully.
Made from a glitter foam, it has the tendency to dance within the light shining upon it and adds a different shape to the normal. With all of my garments and styling accessories, it seems to be a great tool to play with shape, as it gently adds covering to any open skin during the boudoir shoot, making my female clients less shy and more willing to pose, without it being obvious, and the shape of the jackets and coats only aiding to the image’s stunningness.
This awesome shoot was done at the Loci Photography studio, with a young lady who wanted a portfolio shoot done as she bought a gorgeous glitter dress, and didn’t have anywhere to really wear it to yet, so the next best thing would be a shoot in it.
So I added one of Nicolassi’s new bunny masks, a black bunny mask from Nicolassi, made from glitter foam and dusted with shimmering glitter, that catches the studio light beautifully. It just added something new, an interesting shape, and a whole new character to her images.
Within the Loci photography studio, and with its range of Nicolassi garments and accessories, one can get lost in another world, and a whole different place. I love all of the garments and pieces’ beauty, and what it brings to my photography.
